Going Wireless – Bluetooth Earphones

Are you fed up with untangling the wires of your earphones? Are you disappointed by the previous earphones that failed on one ear because the wire is pulled by someone or something accidentally? The good news is, the time for wireless earphones has come.

There can be multiple reasons why you hate the dangling cables, and the fact that they are troublesome when you are at the gym working out is probably one of those reasons. Nevertheless, many have stayed using the the wired ones because the sound quality of the early wireless earphones are just not acceptable as we are used to the greatness of the conventional earphones.

Fortunately, wireless no longer means poor sound. Today, bluetooth wireless stereo audio sounds much better than it ever did before. Even though the stereo bluetooth data signal is compressed, various headphone and earphone manufacturers have discovered ways of enhancing the signal to compensate for deficiencies in fidelity. But still, if you have a really high standard for sound quality, you shall stick with wired headphones for the time being. For casual listening, many of the most recent wireless models sound as wonderful as most generally used wired earphones.

Apple clearly see this trend, and are making the Airpods. Unlike most exisiting earphones, they are planning to get rid of the cable connecting the two earpieces – totally wireless. Sadly, we have waited for the release “in late October” but until now, there’s not even a rumour giving out when exactly it’s coming out. So we probably won’t be having it as Christmas presents.

Then which earphone is the best among the existing ones?
We’ll discuss in another article 🙂
